Okay, so I've seen an actual dermatologist about the psoriasis, which I've kindly pictured here so that you know what I mean when I say that this shit is gross (benevolent of me, I know), and here are the results:
1. She has started me on a cream, I think called Dovonex, which I've bought over-the-counter in Canada for, get this, 20% of what it would cost in the United States. We really have to do something about that, incidentally.
2. I'm also taking salt baths, which surprisingly make my skin smoother rather than drier. I still look a lot about like the photo, over pretty much 70% of my body, but it looks more like birth marks now and less like scabs. Supposedly, this treatment will take several weeks.
3. I'm also supposed to get shots, which will work for a year.
4. I promise not to post any more psoriasis porn.
5. I was, incidentally, glad to have the dermatologist tell me that I am not, in fact, turning into the fly.
